This 33,737 square foot building is designed as a fully functional stand-alone YMCA. The key objective was to construct a user-friendly design by creating an environment that combines fun, fitness and health, with all the basic amenities of a full-service YMCA, at a cost that fits the community’s fund-raising abilities. The facility, which is located in Hillsboro, Ohio, was completed in February 2003.

The New Facility Includes:

• a 6 lane competition pool
• a college NCAA regulation gymnasium with running track with bleacher seating for 1,100 spectators
• a large 1 1/2 story lobby/vending area
• separate men’s, women’s, boy’s, girl’s and family locker rooms
• large aerobics, weight room & fitness areas with a nursery adjacent for visual contact
• six offices and associated work areas
