McCall
Sharp Architecture designed the new 10,258 square foot ($836,301)
facility for the Northern Union County Fire & EMS District.
The building includes 5 apparatus bays, a day room, training room,
handicap accessible restrooms, a kitchen, and storage. The project
came in under cost estimates, allowing the Fire District to use
dollars for other needs, such as the addition of a six room dormatory.
The building is a wood frame, pole construction, slab-on-grade
structure. This project represents a "full service"
Fire and EMS facility completed at a very low dollar per square
foot cost. Thus, the Joint Fire District could accomplish all
their space needs within their allocated budget.
