After completion of the new Township Offices and Community Building, McCall Sharp Architecture then renovated the old township hall into a fire department, with additions occuring in three phases.
Phase 1. The existing township hall was renovated into fire station offices and dormitory as well as the addition of 4 bays for vehicles and turn-out gear.
Phase 2. Four vehicular bays were added to the existing fire station, as well as a Training Tower. The wood frame structure is designed in a simple colonial architectural style to blend with the existing buildings in the complex.
Phase 3. A 2,052 square foot addition to the fire station. The project includes dormitory rooms, a kitchen, dayroom, restrooms, and a turn-out room. This project also included a new 334 square foot shelter house.
